SYNOPSIS: The Moment of Change Just Passed features two dancers in the same space at different times. The video explores the echoes of spacial memories.
DESCRIPTION: Two dancers perform a duet on video without being in the dance studio at the same time. Their footage, filmed on different days, was digitally composited.
An attenuation of time and simultaneous viewing of multiple layers overlaps the activities in the space to re-structure time.
As in our memories, events in the video lose their strictly linear moorings and float freely to be rebuilt in our mind's eye.
